I agree. You guys are being negative to someone who is just trying to participate. What are you trying to accomplish? Isn't the whole idea of the mini is to have so many options as to give someone a car that is unique and fits their taste and style? Or should everyone just get what is most "popular"? So high school.

I dig it! the CM around my area is rare - add your combo in and it's ever more so. You thinking of striping it or anything? What color is in the interior?
I'm getting a plain jane black on white - with some stripes. Some would call it boring. I didn't even consider it till I saw it in person. I think it's sharp.
Welcome to the boards and hopefully your first impression doesn't translate to the rest of us!

I think it a very interesting combination - especially with the white tunnel wheels which don't show as available on the 2012 option list. Next week I'm driving about 600 miles to look at a bright yellow car in person. Hard to tell even from the dealer's paint plaque what a car will look like.
Was this an ordered car or off the lot?

I think the car looks really cool. I was also taken aback at the rudeness. I know Sealy was joking because of his Pure Red/Pure Orange car, but really, color preferences are so subjective, and to call someone else's perfectly wonderful car the "worst" or whatever it was is really bad. So here's a vote for I love your car, and I hope you don't go away.

the first one i saw in my neighborhood was a bright yellow with black stripes and white wheels! i had no idea what it was except it said MINI, i thought it was cool enough to do a lil research and see just what that car was, and within 2 weeks went to the dealer and found mine! welcome to the club!

I agree. I saw your new CM come off the truck and I was struck by the wheels! I never saw that option, so did the lovely gents at Ferman Mini help you by having something special done at the port?

Actually, I didn't say anything bad, just an observation that many others have also made. All the colors (colours) are a little odd, my Pure Orange included. If we can't joke amongst ourselves, then we have deeper issues.

Mine just arrived at the dealer
My 2012 Bright Yellow CM S just arrived at the dealer this morning! They were nice enough to send me a couple of photos via text message at 8:30am. Anxious to get it! Mine has the 18" anthracite wheels, black roof (with sunroof), carbon black leather. I ordered it back on Aug 7th. It replaces my Chili Red 2008 MCS.

Nice combo Mr Slice
I almost went with with Yellow Black and had I got a sunroof would have matched that combo
The color is definitely an acquired taste and I do think it has a bit too much green in it (as a former liquid yellow owner I mourn that colors passing)
anyway here are some picture of mine, clean and in action in the snow
