Squeaked in a HPFP replacement at 91k miles.
Leaving work the other day, car started up but was sputtering, coughing and trying to stall. Gave it some gas until it started idling smoothly. CEL/Reduced Power light came on.
Side note, for those familiar with the Dames Point Bridge in Jacksonville, FL, driving up it at reduced power is not ideal. So, stopped at Advance and had them pull the codes, P0462-Fuel Level Sensor Circuit, P144B-no description but it had to do with fuel consumption correlation, P15DF-Cold Start Pressure Low and P0087-Fuel Rail/System Pressure Low. The dealership doesn't accept codes from outside sources but luckily they diagnosed it this time unlike last time I took it there for the same issue. At 91k miles, both high and low pressure pumps needed replaced and had the cracked serpentine belt done too. |
That’s good luck. What year is your car?

2011

That's pretty amazing.
We have a 2012 and are on our 3rd pump at this point. The first failed around 60K and the replacement at 76K. |
