I’m a soon to be 2012 countryman a all 4 owner and I just have a few questions
1- what should I expect? I’ve never driven a mini before.. I’ve hear a lot of comparisons to a go cart but that seems unlikely due to the size as compared to the smaller mini.
2- I know it’s not the most powerful so I was wondering if anyone has done any upgrades to their car that increased the horse power or torque? And if you have could you give some tips and things I should look for to upgrade my future mini?
3- lastly what are some problems with the 2012 model? At what mileage do things need to be checked/ fixed

Anything helps as this is a whole new experience to me! Thank you

1. true, it's not a gokarty as the regular version
2. the JB+ or other plug in tuners wake the car up a lot. i really miss my JB+
3. ... knock on wood ... mine has been pretty dependable EXCEPT for 3 or 4 water pumps, plastic garbage, but they straightened that out, and pretty much just regular services.

if you're looking at a manual transmission '12 do a little research, the clutch was a bit sketchy on the early versions of the CM
