Anyone know how to reset the factory oil change reminder to show a lower mileage, maybe every 5,000 miles instead.

 

I asked that same question at the dealer last year.....it cannot be done

Thanks for the link. I noticed in the video that just before resetting there were up and down arrows, can they be used for changing the time frame of say the oil change? If I remember right the stock interval is 10,000 miles, can it be changed with the arrows down to 5,000 miles?
