Found a difference between the two cars:

L838A National version Canada

That is listed on Jester's build sheet.

That explains the S without the Sport button.

Getting a Canadian car makes me just upset at this point haha, realistically I only really want the sport mode for the better exhaust tones, seeing as how I am now straight piped, it sounds mean as hell, but without sport I get no pops or burbles :( least not without removing my cat with the 02 sensors on it and replacing with a catless downpipe.. or a larger dp... or I just suck it up and send my ecu to Mario and have him tune it for me. Which is probably what I will do haha.
