Recommended tire pressure for stock 18 CMS ALL4 Wheels?
Just bought a low mile 2015 CMS All4 with 17 Wheels & 205/55 tires. I am going to swap on the stock 18 Wheels with the 225/45 tires. The door sticker only lists the pressure for the tires ordered on the car so nothing there for the 18s. Can someone with stock 18s please let me know what your door sticker says? Thanks! |
Surely someone on here has stock 18 wheels on their Countryman! Any help much appreciated. If all else fails itll be a trial & error thing, starting with 36psi all around. |
32psi for continuos driving under 100 and 38 psi for autobahn driving over 100 mph

Those figures are out my R60 owners manual and are the same for all wheel sizes
Tire size Tire pressures in bar/psi Speeds up to a max. of 100 mph / 160 km/h Speeds including those exceeding 100 mph / 160 km/h All pressure specifications in the table are indicated in bar/psi for cold tires. Cold = ambient temperature 195/60 R 16 89 H M+S 205/55 R 17 91 H M+S 205/55 R 17 91 H M+S RSC 205/55 R 17 91 V RSC 225/45 R 18 91 V RSC 225/40 R 19 89 V RSC 2.2/32 2.2/32 2.6/38 2.6/38 |
I've had several different brands of tires over the years and have encountered a wide range of driving conditions so I just split the difference and run 35# at all times regardless and don't worry about specifics. Takes a lot off the mind so it can focus on more important stuff like motoring, golf and beer.

I looked at the sticker on our CMS All4 for the 17" wheels and it says 32psi in all wheels. So, based on the above, the 18" wheels would also state 32psi for normal driving conditions. Depending on tires, the pressure can vary some, so I will likely be somewhere between 32psi and 36psi (depending on weather also....colder weather warrants a little more pressure). We are putting 225/45 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires on the MINI 18" x 7.5" ET52 Silver Turbo Fan Wheels (which personally I think look absolutely gorgeous on the Countryman!) |
