I had a 2007 328 BMW with 17 inch runflats for 7 years. The ride was a little stiff, and noisy, due to the tires. I just purchased a 2015 Mini Cooper with regular 17 inch tires. The ride is much softer, smoother, and less noisy. Fortunately, I have a donut spare mounted under the car, should I need it. Anyone who wants to switch from runflats to standard tires can order the spare from Mini. Just make sure you do have a jack in the boot, also. I do find it odd that Justas come equipped with regular tires and a spare, and other higher end models do not, as the ride is far superior with my configuration, IMHO.

No room for it. The extra bits on the S models take away the space. Run Flats also save mfg weight and fuel economy to meet the MPG standards.

That makes sense. As much fun as the S would be, I think my Justa is pretty peppy, just the way it is. I mentioned to my boyfriend that I was thinking of getting a tuning chip installed, and he looked at me like I had 3 heads...LOL....I absolutely LOVE this car....
