Put a Chrome gas cap on a 2012 Countryman S?

I asked at the dealership and they said no, so I thought I would ask the NAM experts to either confirm or deny. Can I get a chrome fuel filler cover like this:

on my 2012 Countryman S that has a boring fuel door like this?:

If it's possible I'd like to see examples from people who have changed their cap to chrome. realoem shows it just like the bottom picture and no option.

TIA

Cheapest way to get the look is with a skin.
http://www.247skins.com/index.php?l=...t_detail&p=267

There are also some stick on covers
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/put-400529

The issue is the entire design and integration of the door and cover is completely different on the R60’s than the old Gen1 and Gen2’s.

And the F60 well that’s square.

If it is the same diameter I bet you could do it...Sounds like kind of a pain

I think the only reason it may look odd is because there is a rear door handle really close by...might look funny since it would break up the spacing of the scuttle---->handle---->handle----->taillight

It has been done, but even the best attempt I've seen looks like funky at best. Lines just don't match.

I thought if it was an easy swap, I might try it. Looks like more trouble than it's worth to try and do it right. And I don't really care for the stick on chrome cap. Thanks for all the replies.
