Found out something new today.

My tire pressure warning (red) came on today so I checked the pressures and the rear right was low. I topped it up but it went completely flat about an hour later. The car was at home in my driveway at the time. I pulled the tire, topped it up again and soaped it up looking for the leak which turned out was coming from the valve. I was concerned that I would need a new TPMS sensor but after bringing it in to the tire shop they determined that there was no sensor and simply installed a new valve stem free of charge.

It turns out that Canadian R60s use indirect TPMS and simply monitor tire rotation via the ABS sensors. Not as accurate as direct TPMS using pressure sensors, but it worked none the less and saved me a few bucks.

That is definitely a bonus. I just bought 16" wheels for next winter.
