Question Switch needed for driving lights

HELP! I am almost ready to install the driving lights on my R60. I have all the parts except 1... the switch...
However, I do not want to use the standard switch which mounts in the knee bolster under the steering wheel. My thought is to replace the switch pack under the toggle switches with the pack that BMW makes with a rear fog button in it. The part number for this pack is: 61319804922.
My thought is that I could use the rear fog button for my driving lights. What I need to know before I drop the $200+ on this pack is if that will actually work? Has anyone tried this? Please do not respond to this thread with the note of: "scan through the other threads..." I've already done that, and unless I have completely missed something, that comment will not help me.

PLEASE help!!! Useful information will be greatly appreciated!!!

I'm thinking that it requires coding. Don't think that those are regular contact terminal switches.

The switch that came with my setup is circular and was designed to go on the steering column. I installed mine in the kick panel cause I didn't feel like pulling the steering column apart, but if you are after something that will blend a little better it might be a better alternative than trying to code in a switch from a different car. Pretty good length on the wire too, so you might could get creative.
