Factory fogs vs factory led fogs

Hi everyone,

I'm considering making the switch over to the LED drl, fog, position combo setup. My question is as fog lights, how do the leds stack up against the standard halogen lights?

They are impressively bright, even during the day. You can clearly see the LED halo, and they are fantastic at night.

We have installed a couple sets of them and every customer we've installed them for was ecstatic with the outcome.

MINI LED DRLs

If you are thinking HID vs stock....go with the genuine Mini ( which include Halo) vs after market.....I went the other way....take my word for it

Sound good, I think I'm going to go a head and order them. I'm going to try and take some side by side photos of the light output and post them up once I get it all installed.

Next project: Rally Lights

The OEM Halos are great...they look terrific, and they're very effective.

+1 on the OEM LED DRLs

I JUST got them installed, and it makes me soo soo happy to see them. You can't see it when you drive (because you are inside the car), but when you approach another car and see your reflection, you'll be glad you have them!

I installed my lights today and wow! I love the look and the brightness. I did have some trouble with the wiring, the instructions don't seem to be for the Countryman. The only all grey wire in terminal 12 was in the top connector, and turns out that was the one I needed. The lower connector has a grey and red wire in terminal 12. Hopefully this will help someone else out Looking at the digram its like my box was installed upside down. (I'm not responsible if you blow your car up, follow instructions)

Yea, the updated PDF is here. The old PDF from MINI looks like it was upside down.
