Exhaust Pop

I didn't know they brought back the exhaust pop on the Prince Engine. Love downshifting and hearing my exhaust pop! Wish my 2008 had done it.

I wish the pop was a little more. But love the sound too!

I've noticed that it only occurs in sport mode, and only starts at operating temp. It sounds especially nice in the car park (to steal a british term).

Not in Canada, we're special.

No sport button here in my S, unless you order the sport package.

I would think if any of them would pop it would be JCW. How sad!

It's kinda like a little back-fire when you downshift. You can hear the exhaust pop a couple of times. If you have an automatic just downshift using the steering wheel paddles or if you're driving in manual mode do the same with the gear selector.

My UK jcw pops and bangs every gear change when sport button is on and every lift off blip on the throttle it gives multiple pops and bangs, stick it in any gear ride 3000 rpm ease off and gently back on the quick pedal and steel pop and bang all say everyday... Are the UK jcw different spec to USA and Canada?
