Should I be concerned?
I have a base model 2012 Countryman (automatic). The battery died before it was 3 years old and now I had to have the coils and spark plugs replaced at 3 years 2 months. Just wondering if this is normal or should I be concerned. I guess I should feel lucky that the battery died within the 3 year free maintenance period and the coils and spark plugs were replaced before the 4 year warranty ended...

Not sure how many miles on your CM. Spark plugs would be replaced under the 36,000 maintenance warranty and the battery under the 50,000 warranty.
My plugs have been replaced twice already (JCW CM every 20,000 miles. I will say that each time replaced the plugs I noticed a HUGE pick up power.
Here is the estimated schedule for starting at 30,000 for maintenance from MINI.

Some of those items don't have consistent intervals in the chart, 20k one time and 30k another for instance. Also, brake pads 2 years 30k miles? Brake pads at a time interval? They don't get old, they just get used up and I can't imagine 30k using a set up unless someone drives track days every day. I'd expect normal driving to get by on less than that.
