Smile TPMS Receiver Location

Hello,

Does anyone know where the TPMS receiver is supposed to be located in the rear wheel arch? One of mine has fallen out and and I'm not sure where it should go back into (nor am I quite sure how it worked it's way loose!)

Thanks,

CM

The RDC module for the tpms sensors is attached to the plastic rear bumper support in the Countryman.

I know I'm digging this thing out of the grave here.. but I have purchased a Mini Countryman that has the "TPMS Inactive" message and gong and I was told by the previous owner that Mini diagnosed it as a dead RDC Module. These things are 310 bucks and that seems a bit steep to me..

Is there a way to tune this warning out of the BCM?

Can you put a used one in place and it work effectively?

I don't have alot in this car but I would like to just make it an effective hauler.. I can monitor my own tire pressures. lol

So what happens if you disconnect the RDC Module? The reason I ask is that I just installed a set of winter wheels/tires on my 2014 Hardtop S. I didn't feel like paying an extra $200+ for 4 pressure sensors and would like to eliminate the warning messages.

Thanks in advance... Chris

Same here. looking for any info on this. 2006 cooper s hatch.

I can't find the part at all but i shouldn't be opposed to just removing the entire system.

My right rear is broken off.
