Sad day - farewell friends!

After 20,000 miles of good memories and great fun, I'm going to be selling my Mini Countryman. It's a sad day because I really love that car and will miss zipping around town in what is, in my opinion, an ideal combination of practicality and sporting fun.

The other downside is it means I won't be active on these forums much in the future. I've really enjoyed learning from all the knowledgable and enthusiastic people that make up this community and made some good friends along the way. (You know who you are.)

Ideally, I'd sell the car as-is to another enthusiast who will appreciate and enjoy Hujan as much as I have. Since that's not very realistic, I will in all likelihood be parting it out. I'll put up a thread (or threads) in the classifieds section soon.

In the meantime, enjoy a few photos of Hujan!

Sad to see you moving on - looks like you had a really nice set-up!

Good luck with the sale. I was able to sell my last car as-is, fairly modified, and fetch a decent sale price for it.

I picked up an M3, which is quite the change from the Mini. It's a complicated story, but the short version is that it was a bit of a spontaneous, getting married, kids-on-the-horizon, last chance to do something crazy sort of move.

Thanks, dpike! Likewise, my friend!

Thanks, Cam. It is a good setup. I really hope I can sell it to another enthusiast. It makes me sad to think of it going to someone who won't appreciate the subtleties of the car. For example, the car has the "Joey mod." I'd have been thrilled to get a pre-owned car with a Joey mod, but many people won't even notice or care.

Well, at least the move is lateral....alright maybe up a notch as well.
I'd make the move too...(the M3 part of it) lol
If no one claims the countryman...I'd be very interested in the wheels, wheel/tire package since it looks as we share the same interests.....
Best Wishes...

Thanks for all the kind words, everyone.

For awhile, it looked like I was going to sell the Countryman to a friend who is also an enthusiast, but he ended up losing his job and could not afford to make the purchase. Thus, I decided to part it out and sold the car in stock configuration.

This means that I have a lot of parts for sale in the Marketplace at pretty good prices if I do say so myself. Thanks again for your kind words and let me know if there's something you're interested in!
