Painted Fender Trim

Has anyone painted or replaced there trim with a paintable one and body color matched it? Saw a cooper today with that and thought it looked very good.

I don't have any experience with it, but have seen quite a few with it done. I'd assume it would take a good ammount of some kind of filling primer in order to get a smooth paint surface on that plastic. I'll let someone who knows more chime in on that subject.

No but I do plan on having it done some time this summer.

No paint, but I did put on Euro Arches two weeks ago! :)

European arches don't have the annoying reflector lights, makes for a much cleaner look

I think the typical process is to remove the arches and sand-down the plastic until it is smooth. Then, they are sealed, primed, and painted. No filler needed. Try searching "painted arches" in the R56 threads.

They look good. How much were they?
