Thought about doing just that with Outmotoring's "R60" nameplate.......the full CM lettering across the Boot doesn't work for me at all.......
Honestly, I'm not a fan of using R60 instead of Countryman... Maybe it's because I never came from the BMW community where the trend seems to have originated from. But when I talk to non-enthusiasts (which is most of the time) R60 means even less to them than MINI Countryman.
Or to put it another way - there's a limit to how much petrolhead I'm willing to show to the general public
Too busy in my opinion. Countryman is a big word on a smaller car, so it takes up the entire boot.
If Mini really wants to start labeling all their vehicles, I think there are better ways. Personally, I think it would be cool to have the word Countryman pressed into the metal on the top of the rear bumper...if that makes sense?? So if you were loading the trunk, when you look down on the bumper from the top, you would see the word. Just a thought.
Few more ponies under the hood and a better clutch they can put "Countryman" on every panel for all I care. Would rather see Mini improve the product then their product awareness.
If we have to use ALL the letters of PACEMAN and COUNTRYMAN on the boot lid, I'd like to reserve the following:
Catnap Acronym Menu
Macrame Canyon Punt
Necromancy Amp Tuna
Acumen Conman Party
Nuance Company Mart
Conman Campy Nature
Coma Truancy Penman
Campy Toucan Manner
A Creamy Conman Punt
Anyone know when the changes to the boot lettering are being implemented? I have a vehicle in the "birth canal" this week and am wondering whether or not I'll have the letters out back. I'm still forming an opinion on whether I like it or not, but I am surprised that they are making such a noticeable exterior change mid model-year.

I think we have a winner.
At least if I put Countryman on the back, it would eliminate the #1 question I get about my car: "Is that the Clubman?"
