Ever take your new setup at highway speeds? I have not done it yet because I am worried that my sup may snap. Guess you'd have to tie down the front also.

I have not taken it on the highway since I only live about a mile from the water. I'm also worried about rocks and other things on the highway that might damage the board especially since SUP boards are so light compared to surf boards.
For others considering getting a SUP or even a surf board, I was told to always mount the boards fins forward & upside-down since the front of the board tilts and would totally getting pushed upwards from the wind.
