Received my Conti Comfort Kit from the Tire Rack to carry around since I do not have run-flats anymore. Love the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus' the ride and handling is a lot better!

The JCW tune from Motorwerks is Intake, exhaust manifold, factory cat back exhaust, muffler, tips, the JCW emblems (front, rear & engine cover, labels) the DME software - all installed. It was a definite improvement, but after having it awhile now it's more of a novelty. I was expecting more for the $$$.

2600 donuts and no JCW steering wheel or shift ****. I'm telling you, I put on those 2 things and I'll swear I must have added at least 20 bhp.

Installed CravenSpeed dipstick and AFE Pro Dry S air filter both from Way Motor Works. The CravenSpeed dipstick is so much easier to read! Bloody hell, I'm 3 divots low and could not tell before!

Spent the last couple of hours getting it dirty as we drove through yet another storm in the Sierras. All4 and Michelin Pilot Alpin winter tire combo performed flawlessly again.

Like my partner said when we got to Reno: "Your car's a mess!"

Added a MiniFini Receiver!

You've probably seen the youtube installation video, which was helpful, indeed. While I was put off by the cost of the "Country Link"($340 with shipping to NC), I must admit that the product quality is top notch, this coming from a former welder/fabricator. Fit-up was spot-on, powder coat finish is high quality. This thing os SOLID.
I did the job without raising the car, which likely added time and some frustration. I did the bumper cover cutting with a Dremel and a good razor knife - the advice on the instruction video was really thorough and helpful. The box served as a decent holder for the bumper cover as I did the cutting. The job took about 4 hrs. If you want to add a super-stealth receiver to your CM, this is it.
First pic shows the cutout, which is really the only visible evidence. Later pics will include the receiver hidden in that cutout.
2nd pic shows my new car in a very striking state. The receiver is behind the curved steel bumper, out of sight.
3rd pic shows the back of the CM Link before I installed it. As I said, construction is solid and welding is done correctly, wrapped around corners, no weld spatter - nice work.

I'll post more pix with my bike rack on after tomorrow's race.

Sorry for my ignorance but what is this install, a hitch receiver for a bike rack?

Sounds cool!

Here are two shots of the total package, with just one bike though. That's a Hollywood rack - decent but kind of heavy. I will get (or make) a better rack soon. One pic shows the stealth look of the post entering the receiver. Again, take the rack out and all you see (if you are >3 feet tall) is that tiny 1.5" clean cutout.

Yes, it's a bike rack that I put it on for. I could use anything that works with the 1.25" receiver though.
I have posted more pics - waiting for moderator approval.

I changed our deposit from a CM4 without the HID lights to one with them... lost the anthracite wheels and power heated/fold mirrors , but such is life.

This choice was based on reading ALL of the posts here that said HIDs were one of the best options to get.

Should be picking it up friday!

Light White, black roof, black wheels, black lights, premium pack2, heated seats.

my 16" wheels and 205/65/16 blizzaks showed up today and will get slapped on the car saturday morning.

This car is for my wife, to replace an aged 4runner. She is out of town mon-wed of next week so I'll get to drive it!

^^^ Nice!!
Post pictures when you get it. I should be unstoppable with the Blizzaks. I went for the Michelin Alpin cuz I do a lot of driving in warmer condition in the Bay Area (it's in the 60's today) but even with those it's amazing in the snow.

Took a cog from a transmission and fabricated a bracket to support my Scanguage II. Did the cut and test fit last night, did the paint and texture today... loving it now, just got to decide which parameters I want to monitor. Took it out for a quick drive, even washed the mini, it stood up to the car wash guys interior cleaning... .. Sorry for the horrible photo quality. Will take a better photo in the daylight, and from both sides.

Picked it up on friday!
Xenon lights probably already paid for themselves on friday night... we were coming home from dinner through a fairly rural area, and we both saw these "sticks" in the road quite a ways off... started slowing down before we realized they were deer legs!
Getting the clearbra on it today at lunch, and then it's 100% my wife's and I probably won't get to drive it hardly ever again.

Black Jack

The weather warmed a bit and I had rocker panel stripes installed on our '12CMS4 - they compliment the roof and mirror caps that commemorates MINI's English heritage.
