those cobra stripes look great. how were they to install a lot of bubble chasing or did they lay down pretty easy ?

i installed the front bumper, bonnet, and headlight venture shield masks today and it came out better than i expected, but it was a royal p.i.t.a. i never expected it to take over 5 hours to put the bonnet ans bumper pieces on. next weekend another 2 coasts of zaino then i'm set for winter.

The MINI's both got a bath. The CM just got a quick wash, the Pea was due for a full detail at Fred's Auto Spa.

Got the tires rotated, discovered a nail on the inner wall. Car is at Mini right now getting a new tire. Today I get to roll around in a Spicy Orange JCW Hardtop.

Today was a good day to . . . . . cuss at Zaftig. When I turned him off yesterday, the iPod was playing Bonnie Raitt. This morning, he was on the local country station and my presets were gone. After a WTF moment, I got him switched over to Sirius and he immediately went to Out Q. I swear I could hear him giggling as we motored off.

Gave Sylvia some sunglasses

Had her windows tinted... it gets a bit warm here in Dallas, TX so the tint will help a little in that respect. What did you do to your Countryman TODAY?-sylvia_w_tint.jpg

Installed my JCW Alcantara steering wheel. Working on a how to for the "How To" section. It feels awesome in your hand.

Nice wheel "Bmtespar"! I got one installed in my CM and I will never go back. I had one before on my R56 and before I traded the car, I put the factory wheel back in. It was a god awful feeling and you don't really appreciate your JCW wheel until you put your factory wheel back on. I love the feel of the alcantara, it has to be my best mod so far. And a real easy install too. Where did you get yours? I went thru Sewell and it was alot cheaper then other places. Enjoy it!

I got it on Ebay for $299. A guy got it for his car and never installed it. The wheel is brand new as far as I could tell and really does feel great. Very happy with it.

Install was easy. Took about 30 minutes. I just completed a how to and submitted the pdf with step by step instructions and pictures. I guess the guide will be posted once the moderator approves it.

Got Dean tinted up last week, factory rails and cargo box yesterday, and put matching "Black Jack" license plate frame and Valve Stem Caps today (and a quick hand wash as well)! 'Bout done for now.

Washed and Carnuba waxed it, and if I'm lucky, I'll do the wax again next weekend.

driving in the rain

adding mud flaps today to my CMS to help with the wheel spray. won't stop it but might help some, that and I think the flaps look good on it.

Moved the microphone to the Patriot side of the car. Super easy, and better clarity!

The one thing I passed on was the built-in garage door opener. Not only was that pretty pricey, the other options that it required made the added cost ridiculous IMO. For that kind of $$$, I'll be perfectly content to clip a transmitter to my visor.

Congrats again, Alec!

(Guys I know alec from another forum, he's tops! He asked me about my MINI before he ordered his.)

I installed a rear bumper protector from new German. This is a well engineered product that looks good, fits perfect, and is made of thick plastic that matches the rest of the plastic trim perfect. They have all colors in stock. Black, silver, and carbon fiber.

One side of your car is a patriot and the other side a traitor?
