Has anyone ran across any Countryman repair manuals or shop manuals online. These are usually pretty easy to find for other makes of cars but can not seem to locate anything for Mini. Would be nice to have once car is out of warranty as I usually prefer doing my own repairs at that point. The money saved more than pays for any tools that may be required.

 

The R56 has been out since 2007 (earlier in Europe), and still no manual 4 years later from Bentley or otherwise. From owning other cars covered by Bentley (like Audi's), that kind of delay is pretty typical. Thus, don't hold your breath.

 

Probably not much of a market for manuals until after the warranty period. Personally, I just get the manual more to understand what the shop is doing than to do the work myself - I do my own work sometimes - depends on the complexity, my available time and how much patience I've built up to spend. Also useful to see how many special tools might be required, which is often enough to affirm my decision to send it to the shop anyway.
