Cooper S emblem vs Toyota Corolla S emblem

Can't help but notice a striking resemblance between the Cooper S logo/emblem and the Toyota Corolla S logo/emblem. Saw a Corolla S on the road today and thought that looks very familiar. Make up your own mind with the photos below

ummm... color is about the same but the style... the Carolla is defiintely more 'conservative' when it comes to the MINI's S

Look at the S...

on an Infiniti G37; maybe closer?

I started noticing this when doing a visual mod and had trouble finding Mini logo's in the right size. Decided the Toyota close up isn't really a great match.

When my MINI was getting some work done after hitting a deer, they put me in a Corolla S. That was truly a POS compared to my MINI.

Need new glasses my friend:nod: Just kidding, maybe just a corolla S for you:thumbsup:

Well, they are both the Letter S, in red, roughly the same comparative size to the model name, so. There are some similarities. But definitely different.

I developed some respect for Corollas when I learned that was the vehicle Rodney King was driving at 110+ mph through LA back in the 90's!

Hi all...I'm new here. Stumbled upon this site when I was trying to find out how to fix a rattle in my sunroof. Lot's of good stuff here.
