I can see one of the two members of your flight crew!
The Tahoe area is one of the most beautiful spots we visited on our 10,000 mile lap around the US. The drive from Sacramento to Reno was spectacular, especially descending the mountains into South Tahoe. Of course, we had to stop at the Ponderosa for a great breakfast and a trip down TV memory lane...

Tahoe and the Sierras in general are gorgeous areas. I feel quite fortunate to live in this area. Hopefully you drove on the west side of the lake and stopped at Emerald Bay. The sad thing is that so much of the lake is private and there are too few places to stop to take pictures or enjoy the water.
10K mile around the US. I would love to do that. I've visited a lot by car but the most in one shot was about 6k. Someday...

Summer Shoes/Winter Shoes
Here's my All4 with its anthracite 18" Turbo Fans shod with the stock Goodyear Eagle runflats...and also with its 17" silver Sport Edition SE wheels from TireRack with Michelin Primacy Alpin PA3 winter tires. I like the summer look better, my wife likes the winter setup.

The dogs are liking the bench, but then again, they like going in any car and they're frequent travelers. I ordered a bench seat car because I was concerned their legs would get caught in the gaps left by the rail. I know you can cover it up but did not want to take a chance.
If I did not have the dogs, I would have gone with the rail. It may not be practical, but I like the concept.

Magnaflow ??'s
Thanks kansasbob98.
First off it is not the kit sold by Magnaflow. I went to my local muffler shop and it is the one they recommended (see photos in Offical CS Owners). Along with the cost of ceramic coating the tips I paid under $350 for everything including installation.
It was decided to leave the factory resonator in so that it would not be too loud. In matter of fact it is just barely louder than the factory set-up.But when you get on it there is a low roar.
Overall I am very pleased with it and along with the aFe dry filter seems to make the vehicle breathe easier. Haven't tried it on a dyno nor computed before and after gas mileage to see if there are any gains but like I said I am happy with it.
Also there is no increase in cabin noise from the exhaust set up. My wife and friends say that it sounds good. Since I am the only one who drives the car I really haven't had a chance to listen to it.

Hey CP,
I don't have a full side shot handy, but here is a better angle of the wheels. They are 18x8 Avarus AV6. I got them from TireRack, mounted with Michelin Pilot Alpins for winter use. They are pretty inexpensive and I was surprised to find that they actually look better in person than in the pictures on TireRack's site.
Cheers,

Tint and back bumper protector within the week. Really thinking about a clear bra. (or would that be clear bro if it's a boy). then mud flaps self installed and for pure vanity, exhaust tips.
Btw I'm a Giants fan living in SoCal and this is NOT Dodger Blue. Lovin'your Tahoe pix.

I don't disagree. It's last on my list and has nothing to do with protecting the MINI but looking at the pix on this forum tempts me. The one bad thing about this place.
