So far have switched to the Craven stubby antenna, changed bluetooth to the driver's side, added a grill badge, painted the brake calipers, and added all weather mats (front, back, boot).
Looking to make more changes as parts become available.

Wow that is slick looking! You know have me second guessing the colors I have been looking at online.

Countryman colors cannot be looked at on line. They all have a unique quality that can only be appreciated in person and in multiple settings. So, get out there and take a look.
Awesome looking car rsbell!! Loving mine! Wish you all the best with yours
I tried the stubby or sport antenna, but from Mini. I changed back to the full length only because I didn't like the fit of the Mini Sport antenna. I'll have to check out the one from Craven.
Very nice guys...awesome look all around. Stubby antenna working well...
Notice any weak signals compared to the full length? Congrats
We put the Craven stubby on the new CM and the new MCS. Both equipped with MINI Connected with NAV. The reception actually seems improved. Not sure if it actually is better, but we seem to get reception even in the garage which we weren't with the stock antennae.
It certainly didn't get worse .
I haven't noticed any loss of signal with the stubby antenna, but I hardly ever listen to terrestrial broadcast radio, so my attitude going in was that I'd rather lose the signal and not look like a remote control car than keep it.

Annette,
I hope this does not sound sarcastic because it is certainly not meant that way, but if the reception is better, doesn't that mean the Craven antenna is better than the stock? This is an issue of some interest to me because my 2003 M3 got terrible radio reception, and it is a known issue for that particular model. If the stock antenna is anywhere close to being mediocre, I will be replacing it, especially since it will be easy to do so. (Replacing the antenna in the M3 meant disassembling the dash and interior between the driver's side roof and the C pillar.)
Introducing Smurfette, my Surf Blue/White Top baby. These were taken at the dealership when it arrived. I'll post more photos once the sun comes out this weekend of Smurfette in her new home.

Looks great!!! Husband's build is similar (substitute 17's for your 18's and no bonnet stripes). I need to get a grill badge for him!

Planning on paying a visit to the dealership this weekend.
