Forge DV Adapter Install Questions

I've read a lot of pros and cons about the Forge adapter with the N18 engine and I've decided to give it a try. I went to install it the other day and its not an easy task, in fact I wasn't able to finish in the time I had. Coming up tomorrow I've going to have another chance to put it in. For those that have installed it, how did you get it in? Here are the issues I'm running into:

Coolant hose for the turbo is in the way, did you just deal with it, or remove it?

Wastegate actuator seems to be hitting the adapter. I installed it the the logo facing down as instructed but seems to be binding. Before I shave some metal off the adapter (like 1 mm or so) is there something I'm missing?

Well I had some time today to reattempt the install. This thing is a pain in the *** to put in. Some notes from my install encase it helps someone else.

On my car at least, the wastegate actuator does prevent the adapter from sitting flush. I had to grind off a bit of the metal from the forge adapter. I didn't have to remove much.

The coolant hose that runs over top of the turbo doesn't leave much room to work. To make things a bit easier, I bent it out, just a little, to give some extra clearance. Metal lines can kink or break early so go gentle if you are going to attempt this.

Aside from that, get a 5mm ball end allen socket. It makes it much easier than using a flat end allen wrench.

So far, so good. Its not as loud as I was expecting, just adds a little extra woosh and fun factor. Had I not gotten it used for a good price I wouldn't have bothered with this. Its a pain to put in, and doesn't boost performance, but for me, I like the woosh
