R59 The MINI Coupé and the MINI Roadster:The End.
Glad I ordered when I did! Mine is partying on the "Cruise ship" right now! Should be arriving in NJ, hungover, on Weds or Thurs. I did not want to have my pickup be in the winter. However, by reading some of these threads, and being as particular as I am on options, I am glad I placed my order in Jan!
Get them while you can, heard not too many on dealers lots left. They never really stocked these either. JCW versions new are even harder to find.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Was unsure when they were going to pull the plug, so ordered early to be sure of what i wanted. But the dealers over here are in the dark as much as anybody.
Can still build on-line over here, but if available would need to check with the dealer? A lot of roadsters appearing in MINI dealers showrooms and moving well, all seem to have the JCW body kit fitted in Roadster S spec/trim?. Dealers say the same happened when the end of the Clubman was announced. Just when the end is for the Roadster who knows.
MINI Dealer Says April 1 is End of R59 Production
Received words from the MA at Mini of Des Moines that they've been advised that April 1 is the end of production...guess it's "now or never" to get an order in.....
I too was at the Chicago Auto Show and saw the R59 in Pepper White. I spoke at some length with a young man who was an employee of a local Chicago auto dealership (not MINI USA or BMW N/A)...he seemed to be under the same impression as those of us following this thread.....limited time remains to custom order one.....
Phew!
Well done, probably one of the last for sure. Still think the Roadster could have been a sure model for the next generation. These models take time to find a market/buyers, but once established will always have a steady demand. If anybody from MINI follows this web site, take note.

Mine came in December. SO glad I was able to get it. My only real complaint was that they discontinued the Orange color just before I got my order in. Don't get me wrong, I love the red with the black "go faster" stripes, but the orange would have made Rudy even more unique.
I was in my (British) dealer yesterday and enquired when the new F57 Convertible will be released, to replace my R59 Roadster. The salesperson called over the dealer principle who had recently been to a Mini presentation where it was made clear that the Coupé and Roadster will be replaced by a single folding-hardtop model, but not based on the F56 Mini but on the new, larger Clubman chassis. That would tie in with the Superleggera concept Mini shown last year which is significantly larger than the Roadster and more like the size of an Audi TT.
The dealer said the new model may be released after just the new Clubman (ie, before the new Convertible) or after the new Convertible. The new Clubman definitely is the next new model.

"Look for the new MINI Clubman to reach showrooms in the fall of this year, as a 2016 model. Other new MINIs in the works include a new generation of the Countryman plus a new sports model to replace both the MINI Coupe and Roadster."
I think the dealer's idea that the folding hardtop might come after the Clubman and before the F57 Convertible is fanciful - how come no-one has seen a folding hardtop prototype and yet the F57 appears to be ready for production now?
The fact it will be bigger than the F55/56/57 settles it for me - I will go for a F57 when it arrives, as bigger is much worse for me, on tiny British rural roads.
R57 orders are now closed (at least in Britain) in anticipation of the end of production, so I'm still hoping I might get an F57 this year. And, yes, I do believe in Sanity Clause.

Mine is a close relative to yours....CR S with JCW interior package & CR mirrors, Cold Weather, HK sound, AT, 17" black star wheels, auto dimming mirrors, Xenons with adaptive light control, white turn signal lights, PDC, rear fog light and center console. Since I'm already status 112, figure 6+ weeks until arrival.....
Each one is truly unique! Yours looks great!
Like your rims, but they were not selectable with the JCW exterior package. I was really amazed at how quickly the process went! Of course I was hoping it was delayed a bit to allow winter to move out of the Northeast. But, it is here in the states, should be at the VDC right about now. Should have delivery in the next week or so! I am getting excited!

Today (after ordering 2/26), I received my CROC motoring badge and "Eject" start button from GoBadges....very quick service...now just need the vehicle. Part of me is in a hurry...but given today's and tomorrow's snow....expected mid-April delivery will be just fine...save $$ for future wheel/snow tire purchase later this year.
Be certain to post pictures upon your JCW's arrival!

Wow , very Nice. Me like.
