Seatbelt Cutting into Shoulder and neck

My wife is complaining that the seatbelt is cutting into her neck and shoulder. I've see those seatbelt covers, but she doesn't think they will work. What she would really like is to have it pushed out about an inch towards the bonnet. Anyone else have this problem, or better yet a solution.

I bought the cover pad. It works really well, and stops the slapping at high speeds. However, I have to remove them when I'm wearing a gold shirt, because the Velcro can cause pulls.

I am planning to make something to better cover the Velcro so I don't have to worry about it anymore.

Raise the seat. That will change where the belt hits, moving it away from her neck.

Or, there are a number of companies that sell little clips that fasten the shoulder strap to the lap belt, increasing the severity of the shoulder strap's angle, so it doesn't cut across the body as much.

Or yeah, the pads.

Thanks everyone - I appreciate the feedback. We tried modifying the seat height and angle, unfortunately without success. And she didn't think the covers (wrap around the seat belt) would work. I think we are going to try option 3 to begin with, or perhaps 2 and 3, I like the look of the cover pad. A holder described by the other chain is exactly what I'm looking for. Seems easy enough to modify. I will let you know how it turned out.

FYI - for the wrap grabbing your shirt. Get another piece of Velcro and, use the alternate side (if it's the "hooks", use the loop side or vice-versa) to cover it up. That may stop it grabbing your shirt.

Again many thanks to all the ideas - it's made me a happy driver ....because she's a happier passenger.
