I managed to put 4 16'' wheels in mine ! two in the trunk, one behind the passenger seat and the last in front. Therefor I had to put my luggage on the passenger seat

Jumbo luggage?

I'm picking my friend up from the airport next week and I'm wondering if her giant suitcase will fit in the trunk. I can't copy/paste from amazon on the iPad but here's the link:

Amazon.com: Adventurer Duffel Collection- 36" 2-Section Drop Bottom Rolling Duffel in Yellow and Black: Home & Kitchen Amazon.com: Adventurer Duffel Collection- 36" 2-Section Drop Bottom Rolling Duffel in Yellow and Black: Home & Kitchen

Amazon says its 14x13x36". It's the 36 I'm concerned about. Anyone have experience with this sized luggage? Thanks!

Actually, it says 35.5" and that might just work as my Roadster measures 36" from wall to wall. It looks like the longest point of that bag (wheels to retracted handle) isn't squishy so you might want to have a back-up plan for the off-chance that it doesn't fit. Mine would be a piece of light cord - tie round the left trunk hinge, pass under the (raised) spoiler and tie to the towing eye that you've just screwed into the rear bumper.

I've driven a long way with the trunk lid open, tied down like this, and after the first 'trunk open' message, there's no problem. But be sure put the cord under the spoiler if you're going to exceed 50mph as if the spoiler can't go up, there are lots of warnings -the spoiler not being able to go fully down doesn't cause any problem.

I put 6 full sized Dell computer towers with their keyboards, mice and cables and a flat panel box full of stuff in.

There is tons of space behind the front seats good for hats, laptops, ice scrappers, umbrella's, little coolers, junk food, etc.

My wife and I went on vacation with two airline OK bags, a bag for toiletries, a Keurig coffee maker and a paper bag full of food. Oh yea, a blanket, two pillows and rain coats. had room for two bags of trinkets on the ride home.

5 piece drum kit (have not tried with cymbals and hardware yet, but should be an easy fit).

Here's what my wife & I were able to fit in for a 2+ hour trip. No problem and we were able to use the top.

Yes, that's a 27" monitor it it's box (fit on the shelf behind the seats) and a banker's file box.

Which holds more stuff? A roadster or a cabrio that's using the back seat as luggage space?

Hard to tell as the outer dimensions are the same, and one would have to look at how much the cabriolet seats depth versus the roadster back separation takes. for everyday and convenience use I would still lean towards the roadster...

When we travel for a few days, I love that everything we take with us is for the most part hidden. With the Cabrio, a lot would be visible.

back from the nursery

We decided to take the MINI to the nursery.

I'll admit, as we were filling the cart with plants, including two blueberry bushes, and a 3-4' dracaena palm I was getting a little nervous. I approach the car with our 20 plants and had a doubt for a few seconds, but went on with it, filling it up.

I love this car...

I have the choice of taking a 2005 Toyota Camry 4-Door or My 2015 Mini Roadster when heading to Costco. I always take my Mini Roadster!

Not bad. I've always been thankful to have picked this roadster for the storage space available

fyi if following prices

a local dealer has a 15 S, red, 6sp, 14000 miles, $24660 fairly sparse on the options list; CARFAX says it was a lease

curiously this is just about what I paid for a similar -15, new (leftover) just 2 years ago from the same dealer!
