Why are my Vogtland drop springs higher in front?
Installed new stock replacement sport Bilstein struts w/ Vogtland 1.2" drop springs. Car sits 3 fingers tire to fender in front & 1 finger in the rear. Bump stops were cut & we have confirmed that the front struts are not sitting on the bump stops. Something that we could not find was an actual recommended strut install depth for the bottom of the front struts' depth into the clamp bore. The original struts sat approx. 1/2" into the bore & the new were installed slightly deeper. So, why did the front not drop as much as the rear?
