The headlights remain on in all switch positions, this morning the high beams didn't work (no change). I'm scheduling an appt with the dealer. Just too much weird stuff going on at once.

I'll let you know what I learn.

I took it to the dealer. apparently I can't count to 12 to find the correct pin. I just didn't have the ambition to take the trim panel off and post a picture.

Just glad they work, and the dealer only charged me $75 to get it straightened out.

Ok, great. Good news. I thought maybe the MINI had an electrical issue.

Bottom line to the story....... do the hard installation job and go to the dealer for hook-up.

It is a lot less expensive than messing up with the wiring harness.

Sooner or later, the soldered wires fixed on this project will give up to corrosion and create other problems.

How much does a dealer charge you to do the whole LED fog light job? I like the look of them as DTR's. I vaguely remember seeing/hearing a figure of $800.

My 2007 Mini s came with the fog lights. they still don't work I checked the fuses 5, 8, 47 & 48, all were good. The bulbs are new . I'm thinking foot well controller if so I don't need them that bad.
I can not find an error code either. When I turn the the fog lights on all I get is the little parking light bulb to light. This is my first Mini, I purchased it to drive through the winter, my summer driver SLK32 AMG would not work for winter driving.
This is a delightful car to drive, even my wife loves it. It is the first manual gear box she had drove in 25 years. I will likely get another one in the spring to replace this one.
