I think it's pretty much certain that we are all part of a dying breed of epicness. Our cars will be dodo birds next year. Good luck getting parts in about 5-10 years. Sigh...

 

Parts will never be hard to find if looking for mechanical products. But maybe exterior parts, if you go to junkyards.

 

Coming from older BMW's, getting parts is really never an issue. BMW does a good job of manufacturing parts well after a certain model has ceased production.

 

I was referring more towards the non-mechanical parts. :D

 

Woooooooo. I like being 1 of less then 7000. And actually less as I have a fJCW . !!!!! That's not a bad club too be in. Although my 2003 miata se that I traded in was 1 of 15xx.

58 in the last 2 months? I look at my local Mini dealer and they don't have any 2015s and 2 2014s - is stock that low everywhere?

 

Mini as much as announced they will stop making the Coupe, Roadster, and Paceman, I suspect after the 2015 model year. They will have 5 models: F55(5 door) and F56(3 door), Cabrio, Countryman, and redesigned Clubman supposedly made the size of the BMW 3 series SUV car. I'm keeping my JCWf Coupe for awhile. I bet about 1:20 Coupes are JCW. Maybe 350 in the US total. Collector's item!

1 in 10 across all models . . . I doubt it. The extra cost + mpg isn't justifiable per the marginal power gain added for most.

Yep, its the rare of the rare and the roaster is even more rare. I am keeping mine as long as i can.

 

The weird thing is I live in Prescott, AZ, population about 100k for the area, and there are TWO OTHER MINIS EXACTLY LIKE MINE here. Different years but same color and model. I haven't checked out the interiors, they probably don't have the Recaros.

 

It would be interesting to know how many have been produced as factory JCW.

 

My guess is it maybe 1,000 of the sales total, I have seen a lot of the JCW models for R58/R59. Seems like in 2012 people bought up on the model. I heard back in the day from MINIUSA that only 500 JCW models across the board only come into the USA a year.
