Was over at Precision Auto Werks having Luis check something in my R53 or PAW motorsport as some call it here and was able to experience This Mini Coupe S on the Dyno, then saw this post on their Facebook page. I was really impressed thought I share it here. Although Luis is still working magic with the first generation, he has really broken through with Mini Cooper performance on the 2nd generation with his newly manufactured PAW inter-cooler & Turbo performance tunes. Although I wonder how many people have actually modded their R58.....not cosmetic stuff.

 

My 2012 R58 has a 2 stage Renntech Programming, Sport mode brings it to 210hp, Stage 2 is activated by holding down the traction button for 5 seconds then it goes up to 230hp. I have a Coupe S with the JCW Intake and Exhaust. I just installed the JCW Brake Kit, Downpipe and Intercooler are next.

 

Looks just like mine with the exception of using black Justa scuttles with

tinted lense & blacking out the belt line. I also put on Mach V Motorsports

springs on it to get rid of the wheel gap. Plus I took off the stock rear

spoiler and put on the fixed JCW wing.

 

I'm about to place an order that includes a bunch of NM goodies and a Forge FMIC. I also just ordered the tune from BMS. Stay tuned!

From Luis himself. They must changed the price since the demand is there. Mind you I spoke to him back in August/September.

 

only the exhaust for me but.. i'm looking for intake/airbox upgrades next and then perhaps ECU tune
