Hi guys,
I crossed my fingers and fortunately I fixed my issue.
To be able to synchronise both brackets I unscrewed the sunroof motor to be able to disciple the gear motor with the spiral cables.
After that I took in reference the bracket position on the functional side. I set, slid by hand the other bracket in the same position (before I had a 10mm difference!!!).
After this synchronisation I screwed the sunroof motor with bracket in the right position.
I don't know why I had this desynchronization!!!
The top works well, I hope it's the end of my problem.
Bonne journée.

Bon travail! The motor has plastic gears and may have slipped teeth.

Thats my guess, pull the top motor out and look at it.

Hello, I have the same issue, may i ask did you have the roof part open or full closed when you did the motor removal
how did you then align the brackets?

So and update thought i would share as this fixed the problem for me. I remove the Motor and the pushed the roof back so it was left on both sides (sunroof), the refixed the motor and shut the sunroof then opened it and kept finger on button for 15 seconds then on the next push the rood opened locked in position and then came back up and locked all fine. so seems as the roof was slightly out of alignment this was confusing the the system, i took the opportunity to grease up the sliders too So happy https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...lies/smile.gif

How did you push the roof back? I might be an idiot but my sunroof portion won't move without the motor turning. I even removed the right side cable that connects the motor to the latch (it had broken) and it still won't move.

TIA Dan
