Never thought I would say detailing was "fun"!!!!

All though this is our 3rd MINI, it's never been so much pleasure to wash, wax and detail a car!!! Now to take it out for a top down ride.....

Never a car guy until I got my MINI Clubman a couple of years ago and now I'm even detailing other peoples cars. It's tons of fun.

Your car is super shiny! Nice job!

For me it is the satisfaction I get when I look at my 10 year old car. I use Armor All on the engine bay hoses, keeps them nice and black.

I agree...very good feeling to see an 8 year old car look so new!

Any suggestions?

Any suggested youtube or instructional info on cleaning/lubing the convertible top mechanisim? Types of products to use?

If you ever want really good detailing advice google a guy on youtube called “ammonyc” he details highend pasta rockets and is really good. He gives great how to videos on there.

I agree detailing can be a ton of fun. I used to have an old red BMW that I keep polishing and waxing over and over again. Neighbors thought I was nuts, but it was a perfect way for me to decompress... I still love it, especially on the Mini (small and easy!).
