Door latches sticking

I have been experiencing an intermittent issue with the doors on my R57. About half the time, when I unlock the car, I'm finding that depressing the latch on the handle doesn't unlatch the door. I find that I have to hold down the handle latch while pushing against the door with my hip right below the handle to get the latch to pop open. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Grease the door jam lock. Also, you might just hand a sticky handle or a stretched cable.

Has the lock ever been adjusted or the striker, like from a wreck or something? 51212752577

Thanks. I am the original owner and the car has never had adjustments done on the lock. I'll try greasing the door jam lock area and if that doesn't fix things, I'll take it to the dealer (have the full service plan so that's the sort of issue they would have to repair).
