leaf clutter in fenders?

My wife's old VW Cabrio had a nasty tendency of getting leaf litter clogged in the fenders at the front door pillar. I notice her '14 R57 tends to have a similar issue.

Has anyone else run into similar problems? Is there a good preventative measure?

Not sure exactly where you are referring to. Can you please give an alternate description of the area or a picture?

Yes, I've had the same issue - if I open the hood and look behind the scuttle I can see all kinds of leaves and pine needles. I haven't figured out a way to prevent it.....I just try to remember to use the shop vac when I'm cleaning the car.....
