Just bought 09 mini convertible

Hey everyone,
I am now the very happy owner of 09 cooper s convertible and I'm looking to start playing around with it. I have a couple questions that come along with this.
1. Can I get rid of the convertible timer and replace it with a boost gauge?
2. Has anyone used a boost adjuster or turbo timer, if so which one and how much did they cost.
3. Does anyone know of pod gauges that run along the windsheild?
4. Who chipped their car, which one did you go with and is it worth the money?

I'm sure I'll have more questions as I customize my go-kart. I'll listen to any suggestions that people have for performance upgrades

You don't ask any questions about taking care of it. They do need extraordinary care unlike the drive 'em and forget 'em oriental no character appliances.
Check ALL fluids at least weekly.
Change the oil/filter and rotated tires every 5K
Brake Fluid every 20K
Coolant every 30K
PCV vent valve every 30K
PS Fluid flush every 30K
Fuel Filter Change every 50K
Plugs every 40K - OEM or NGK (do not cheap out on this )and torque correctly!!
Don't run the top back when it's wet or dirty
Use either RaggTopp or 303 products on the canvas.
The very best mod you can make for handling is a 19 or 22 MM rear sway bar and KONI FSD struts. The struts are often found near half price with some of the listed vendors.
