Driver's Window not dropping 1" when opening door
Hello-
The front windows drop about one inch when opening the doors to allow the window to clear the roof gasket. I noticed when I washed my car, that the driver's side does not do that, leaving a gap and a bad seal. The window does roll down when using the switch. so it's the automatic function that is having a problem. The passenger's side works fine.
Any ideas? I assume that there is not a separate fuse for the automatic 1" function.
Thanks!

I think you're right - it needs to be reset.
I got the trusty Bentley manual out, pulled the two fuses to the driver's window, toggled the switch to clear the initialization, put the fuses back it, ran the windows down and then up, holding the switch for 2+ seconds at the top. No go. Tried it 3 times. I can definitely tell the difference at the top of the driver's side versus the passenger's side. The driver's side feels like it want to keep on going.
I'll take it in Monday, but if I know my dealer, they'll want to put me in an appointment three weeks from now rather than fixing it then and there.

Mea Culpa - The guy took it in at 11 and said it' would be ready by 2, 3 if I wanted it washed. He asked if the battery had run down, which it had. It's not covered under warrantee but he said not to worry about it. I showed a few other things, and he said let's make an appoint, I expected 2-3 weeks, but they have open appointments everyday this week. It was the auxiliary water pump recall that was backing them up. Now that that's done, everything is fine for appointments.
