Removal of trim around windshield / A pillar

I'm thinking of using one of those rear-view mirror LCD monitors for my back-up camera but need to see how much space is there for the wiring behind the plastic trim around the windshield and A pillars.
How do these plastic trim pieces and the weather stripping come off ? Are they just pushed on (apart from the screws holding the sunvisors on) ?
The weatherstrip on my car looks pretty tightly affixed and I wasn't sure if I should just pull it off.

Thanks in advance

Haven't removed mine yet but the R-56 A pillar covers (believe they attach same as our R-57) have two vertical tabs at the bottom and two of the snap fasters. It looks like you pry it straight out away from the pillar to release the snap fasteners, then lift straight up to unseat the tabs on the bottom from the slots in the top of the dash. The A pillar covers have lots of room for a wire.

I have a back up camera and a separate monitor and have been tempted by the mirrors with the built in LCD screen. Let us know how it works out if you do it.

What type of backup cam do you have? Do you like it?
