Out of alignment, already!?

My R57 is only 3 weeks old, with 550 miles, and it pulls to the left. Maybe 1 lane every 200 feet. There is no way that is normal, has anyone else had that kind of pull come up? It happens under acceleration, coasting in gear and coasting in neutral. I havn't hit any pot holes or big bumps, this can't be 'normal', can it?

If the road is level side to side and the tire inflation is correct there is no way the car should pull while coasting (takes torque steer of of the equation). I'd have the alignment checked immediately as something has to be pretty bad out of alignment IMO to pull like this. Perhaps there was some tie rod damage in shipment etc, but no, my R57 tracks straight as an arrow and I can take my hands off of the wheel. It could be a minor adjustment but it could really chew up your tires.

Good luck.

I was told that if I had alignment issues during the first 2000 miles that they'd take care of it free. Check with your SA.

Hi dslucki, I looked at your gallery. NICE. I was torn between Dark Silver in Tuscan Leather or Horizon Blue. Yours looks great. I am a light color interior person and love the Tuscan. Happy Motoring!

Yours too! We knew we wanted Tuscan interior. We were tempted to go with the denim top but decided against it. If only they had one in stock to look at first. No regrets though on the Horizon Blue though.

Now, back to the topic at hand... I don't mean to side-track this thread.

Align is a very fickle thing - It can last for years or days -- one bump the wrong way and it gone.
I be back at the dealership asking for assistance.
