Lets talk price
 

Anyone have any info on price increase for new cabrio model that we can expect? I suspect base price will be up between $1000 - $2000.

Las Vegas thoughts...
 

Hi, I stopped by the Mini dealer in Las Vegas when I was there and he told me he can "see on their computer now" that it's going to be $800 more base price. There are lots of "rumors" running around, though, about the 2009 cabrio from different dealers (just look at the expected delivery date differences) so it's hard to say how reliable this is. The dealer closer to home told me at the end of June that he had no idea. Of course, I've come to realize this dealer has no idea about a lot of things, so I don't know if I can trust that either.

I don't know about pricing, but we were told by three different dealerships in NY and CT that the earliest delivery for a 2009 Cabrio would be March of '09.

This is correct, according to the MINI CEO or whatever he calls himself.
