Wowza, so I'm not the only one who was AWOL?! It's quieter around here than a....insert politically incorrect and/or sexual deviant witticism here.

My only driving news is that I'm not driving much this week! Still haven't gotten snow tires...and for any new owners who are still deciding, the stock all seasons do not cut it! A nasty slide we had last year will testify to that. Public transportation is not always a good substitute. I waited 1.5 hours in 15 degree cold this morning for the commuter rail. Then went home and drove. Fun times.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND GOOD HEALTH AND MOTORING IN THE NEW YEAR!!!

Happy Holidays to you too Rooandren! Thanks for the tip on snow tires! I'll keep that in mind for the next blizzard.

I always get hungry when I come here. Now I want a Dairy Queen Blizzard. I guess that would be one advantage of being in a place with boring weather like yours. DQ would stay open all year! They close up for a long winter here!!!

We Canadians keep our DQ's and Slurpee machines going all winter....in fact, 7-11 sells more slurpees in winter here than in summer! I think it's because we're trying to equalize the temperature gradient between our insides and our outsides......

It's warming up today...to -20!

Sounds like perfect weather for ice cream! We are having a cold spell. Probably won't get much higher than 58F! Brrrrrr.

I love winter time. The only time of year I do not sweat. WOOHOO!

And for all my NFR buddies, Merry Christmas and have a safe and happy New Year!

I am doing the new yeat thing now as once the Christmas stuff starts, I will not be around until after the first of the year. It gets hectic here. Not mention New Year's Eve is one of the two times a year I drink myself into a stupor. The Wife unit says I am one funny drunk. I would not know.

Sorry I have been MIA. Nothing bad, just busy and crazy with holiday stuff. Still loving my NF Clubbie though. I have had quite a few people ask about the color. She needs a bath badly right now....too much icky sand on her fabulous boot, Happy New Year to all!

So...it's been almost 2 years now since the first NFRs rolled off the line in Oxford...and this is how I've seen things.

1) NFR registration has decreased. Not many newbies (other than Clubbies) have joined our little rag-tag outfit. Do you think NFR sales are declining?

2) NFR blog site has slowed down. Why do we not keep this line going? Is there a need for the NFR Support Group?

3) Has anyone seen any used NFR's for sale anywhere?

4) Do you think MINI will continue NFR, and if so, for how long?

Time for contemplation on our choice of color. And...I've discontinued my slurpee intake for the long haul....it's for my health! Now I just need to find a replace vice...5) Any suggestions?

D

I always need the support of other NFRs! I have yet to see another one amongst my road warriors peers. I'm alone in this desert!

Now, CJ, didn't I drive all the way from Central Canada to Arizona just so you wouldn't have to drive the streets alone? I tried girl, I really tried!
