I listened to the podcast of Gabe's R56 test drive. Sounded like the Sport Button makes alot more difference in power than previous R53. I'm curious if anyone knows what effect the sport button has on gas mileage? I comute a long way to work on interstate.

R56 on order Dec 8. Expecting delivery Feb 22!

 

On Mini2, new R56 owners have reported a difference of 4 to 5 mpg with the sport button on.

 

I'd say that's about right. It can be more if you have a lead foot, it is much more fun though

 

Of course, that's in imperial gallons.
