Crankcase ventilation question
 

I purchased a 2008 Mini Cooper S with 75K on it. Not sure if this is something the previous owner did or if it is stock.
I was walnut blasting the intake valves this weekend and noticed that there is a strange set of tubing/tees on the intake manifold just below the air cleaner housing. This tube circled in red has a T fitting in each intake tube and then is connected to the small port which I believe is PCV system port on the left (passenger side top) of the valve cover. I had to remove this small hose to remove intake manifold. Any ideas if this is stock or an addition? The T fittings are fragile and seem to be cracking so the whole tubing assembly is very delicate. I didn't get pictures of it when I had the manifold out which would have helped. Any suggestions? Replace? If so what is the part number for this tubing assembly?

Second item the PO did was add a catch can, which in our Wisconsin winters fills up with more water than oil. I removed the catch can and then used the tubing to reconnect the two parts. I want to go back to stock tubing part for this area but cannot find a parts view that calls out the part number for this tubing that connects from the PCV system on the drivers side of the valve cover then goes to the turbo intake. I have provided a picture and circled the part in red.

Tube between Valve cover and turbo in take

There are two breather connections related to the N14 PCV system. The first connections is at the back of the valve cover, and goes to the intake manifold. Looks like in your case, you have the "Cold Weather" PCV manifold. In colder weather, it is rumored to be an improved design over the "Regular" manifold, which has one larger hose that goes to the bottom of the manifold. The "Cold Weather" manifold has multiple connections right at the manifold-head interface, as can be seen by your set-up. The second PCV connection goes from the valve cover to the turbo inlet, where you removed the catch can.

Unfortunately, the "Cold Weather" manifold has been added to the 'Obsolete' list, and was only offered as a full assembly. All those little bits and connectors were never offered separately. You 'COULD' use aftermarket pieces to rebuild the configuration, but not sure what would be needed to accomplish that task.

Any idea what the part number is for the second PCV hose is? Valve cover to the turbo inlet?

As seen in your picture, it should be fine like that.
