2013 R56 JCW left front window not sealing to B pillar

To be clear, the window does do the auto down/up when opening and closing the door just fine. Issue is that the left front window is not sealing to the weatherstrip on the B pillar (pic attached). There is also a sizable gap between the rear of the window and the weatherstrip close to the door lock post (pic attached). The window is also square to the door so this is not the issue. The window has moved outward a bit and needs to be moved inward a bit not sure how to do this. This has also caused the motor to have a more difficult time raising the window, since it is rubbing too much against the bottom window trim piece. If I remove the bottom window trim piece (part number 51337146091) the motor has no issues, this further reinforces that the window has moved out a bit.

This thread seems to be the same issue, didn't want to necro such an old thread. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...her-strip.html

The thread you pointed to is for an R53 so it’s a bit different, but your issue isn’t too difficult to fix. There is a special tool that you can purchase for about $15 that you can use to adjust the window forward and back and the pitch of the window. The windows get out of alignment over time. I think there is also a procedure online form BavAuto(RIP) on YouTube. I’ll take a look and post but that should get you started. I had to do the same thing when I bought my 2013 JCW and it fixed it right up.
