R56 loss of low end power /slow to boost after repairs
loss of low end power /slow to boost after repairs
Hi all,
I've just replaced the valve cover, water pump, friction wheel, accessory belt and both tensioners on my r56. Used genuine Mini parts and did it all by the factory service manual. The car was down for a couple of weeks while I waited on parts.
It's all back together now and runs, but it feels like it's lost some low end power below about 3k rpms. Once it hits boost it pulls strongly - it just seems like it takes more throttle pedal and time to get there.
The only other thing I changed was installing a AFE dry panel air filter in place of the stock one.
I've scanned for codes before and after driving it about 40 miles, and there's no errors reported.
Any ideas on what I might check/look for please? Thank you
edit: the car's got 110k miles on it.
