R56 Still slightly down on power after tune up and TUNE
I'm too lazy to look up your location in FL, but I've heard that Lou at https://prototype-r.com does some pretty good tuning. If he's not too far away, he might be competitive with RPM. Maybe even do a remote tune --- no ECU shipping.
And, as njaremka says, if the turbo is making metal-on-metal grinding noises, and you've already been told there's shaft play, get the turbo replaced! I've heard nothing but good things about TTE300 and Owens Developments, both make reliable hybrids for our Mini's.

I went with the borg warner as mario couldn't get parts to build me one of his 43/56 turbos.
Got the install kit, silicone intake tube, and its going in the week after next. IF the car is running well after that, i will get some new pads and rotors for up front and drive it to north carolina for thanksgiving. Fun in the mountains
