Program App for lights etc.

Happy Friday Mini gurus:

I am wondering if there is a phone app that let me program R56 lightening behaviour etc.

The light control level of my R56 does not work, low beam and side markers are on all the times. A local shop guy told me the previous owner programmed the computer to be like that. So I am wondering if there is a phone app that allows me to restore the settings.

I already have an OBD 2 dongle.

Thanks!

Chris

I don't think your local shop guy is correct. But anywho, you can get the basic coding done through "Carly for BMW". You'll need to buy a Carly dongle, and pay an annual subscription for that app to be able to code it. This is about the easiest option. Beyond this, the next viable route is to get NCSexpert software and use it with an INPA cable, this you can do a whole lot more on a laptop computer..

Good luck.

I think Carly could do that.

you could also go through the car menu/setting and turn off that option.

Carly sounds like the solution.

I don't think he is right either. I could spend two hours complain this guy but he has already wasted too much of my time.

Thank you!

Chris
