polyurethane exhaust hangers r56 s

Hi, im looking for polyurethane hangers for a R56S, it's worth it or not?

Polyurethane has a very low melting point (around 100C depending on mix), plus it is a thermoplastic and will soften as it reaches its melting point. Your poly hangers would probably melt.

Don't bother the stock rubber ones are perfectly fine and reliable.

The advantages of urethane exhaust hangers are to limit exhaust movement. I doubt they would be of benefit on the R56.

If you want to limit movement just rip a big ol zip tie around the rubber ones lol

I used a hose clamp around each front hanger to lift up my exhaust to keep it from rubbing before I can get it welded together. Hose clamps can be adjusted too, so they might help with alignment/fitment if you ever have that trouble.
