Well, my trunk door is dynamated and I need better arms.
Any recommendations?

Just replace the factory ones first, they might be weak. The weight of the dynamat should not keep them down. They are pretty strong once up. 51247148902

Are those 'stabilus' as good as the oem?

With Stabilus its a hit and miss. Ive bought a few pairs for different cars. While they do the job of lifting the trunk lid or hood, they do not slow down as they should. So imagine your trunk opening swiftly so it buckles when it reaches the top

I tried other brands like BOXI. They do the job. But its too soon for me to tell if they will last. However for $15 a pair, hey Im not complaining...yet

I replaced jut one of the OEM ones with new one and it did the job. Thanks!

Just saw this thread. Most of the time stabilus is the OEM manufacturer. Glad you got it fixed.
